Diversi Consulting were engaged to undertake the civil design of the proposed residential apartments at Wongala Crescent Beecroft. This project involved the construction of 50 apartments comprising five-storeys and two-basement levels.
The civil works also included a new stormwater pipeline in Wongala Crescent to connect to the existing stormwater system.
Diversi Consulting were also engaged to undertake the site civil works and stormwater drainage design /OSD system, as well as traffic and vehicle turning paths and driveway design.
Woolworths engaged Diversi on this project which involved the construction of a new supermarket, café and a BWS liquor store, all with basement carparking.
The site was a challenge due to its location on Parramatta Road and its proximity to a major flood / overland flow path for the area. Diversi were able to advise and guide the design of the development to accommodate entry and access off Parramatta Road due to RMS requirements. Furthermore, Diversi were able to control flooding around the site/building in order to maximise the area’s carpark and retail floorspace.
Diversi were engaged to undertake the site civil works, stormwater and detention design, required modifications to the adjacent traffic signals and intersection on Parramatta Road as well as complete an assessment of the flood impact and identify the solutions.
This project in Glendenning involved the construction of a new industrial warehouse on a 1ha site.
The facility included a 6000m2 warehouse, car parking for 100 vehicles, loading docks, truck hardstand areas as well as, fire tanks, stormwater detention tank, rainwater harvesting tank and a large stormwater treatment bio-retention swale.
Diversi Consulting were engaged to design the civil and hydraulic works for the development including car parking areas, the loading dock, pavements and drainage, stormwater detention, reuse and treatment facilities.
By undertaking hydraulic modelling using DRAINS and MUSIC we were able to evaluate multiple stormwater options and optimise/minimise stormwater tank and treatment sizes whilst meeting Council’s stormwater requirements.
