The project is located on a 12ha site at the corner of Epping and Dehli Roads, North Ryde.
The project involves the subdivision of the site, up to approximately 2,000 dwellings in high density / mix use development, with central park, retail precinct and bus interchange for the railway station.
Diversi were engaged by Christie Civil and Urban Growth NSW for the design of the civil infrastructure works including bulk earthworks, site works (including all roads, stormwater drainage, trunk drainage culverts and creek works as well as lines, signs and services coordination), Wicks Road intersection (including new traffic signals, service modifications, new stormwater drainage and pavement works) and Epping Road works (comprising a deceleration lane, pavements, stormwater drainage and services relocations).
The project has been complex and often challenging given the flooding and services in Wicks Road as well as the tight design and construction program. However, Diversi were able to meet the tight programme and provided valuable design of the trunk stormwater system in order to reduce construction costs and flooding to Wicks Road. In addition Diversi were able to provide a creative solution to the design of the stormwater drainage system in Wicks Roads due to the extensive number of services constraining the works.
Diversi Consulting were engaged by Rawson Homes to undertake the engineering design of a 66 lot residential subdivision on a 4.5ha site at North Kellyville.
The works included bulk earthworks, roads, stormwater drainage, bio retention basin/swales, utility services (electrical, street lighting, gas, telecommunications, water and sewer), lines/ signage as well as retaining walls.
Given the steep-sloping land, it was necessary to bench parts of the site and install retaining walls.
As the site was also located near Caddies Creek, it was important to control stormwater runoff and quality. As such, Diversi proposed a combined sediment, detention and water quality basin to control the creek and habitat adjacent to the site.
Penrith Panthers proposed a mixed use redevelopment of their 20ha site comprising of 8 super lots and up to 200,000m2 GFA. The site comprised a commercial precinct, residential apartment precinct, aged care precinct, retail outlet centre, multi-deck car park for 3,700 cars, hotel, Western Sydney Community and Sports Centre and NRL Academy.
Other related works also included a concept design for a new regional tennis centre for 16 courts on the adjacent lands.
Diversi were engaged to undertake design of infrastructure works including bulk earthworks, road and drainage (stormwater and trunk), bio retention basins, sewer and water, electrical and street lighting as well as gas and telecommunications.
As part of these works Diversi Consulting were responsible for designing the site roads works for the subdivision as well as design of Jamison Road (a multilane regional road) and new traffic signals. Works also included a large culvert crossing under the new main entry road from Jamison Road. The culverts comprised the junction of 2 box culverts one being a twin 2.4m wide structure and one being a triple cell culvert 3×3.5m.
Diversi undertook the design and documentation for masterplan and several stages in a very tight program and were able to provide creative solutions to minimise stormwater and roadworks infrastructure.
